Alec Steadman has worked as an artist, curator and researcher. His artistic and curatorial practice has often been informed by notions of the activist potential of humor.
MAMA invited Steadman to reflect on the potential of vulnerability of the performer and his place in art and comedy. His talk will explore the vulnerability of the performing body in the street, through the eruption of street performance and DIY comedy stages that occur as active agents at times of hegemonic change.
