During the build-up of Showroom MAMA's exhibitions, its windows are used for the Raamproject (Window Project). Under the guidance of one or two of MAMA's Rookies, art academy students and other aspiring creatives are given the chance to make a display for Showroom MAMA's windows.
Raamproject VIII, NEGATIVES/POSITIVES, is developed by Martine Poot, ('90, Vlaardingen) and Thijs Lansbergen ('88, Schiedam). Both artists graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academie, Rotterdam in 2011. For Window Project VIII they have altered a series of prints taken from a collection of slides depicting the ideal life of the 60s. Their alterations disturb the images and give the slides a different meaning.

You All Fell For My Act is an international group exhibition about the way in which we relate ourselves to idealized images of a prevailing norm. The participating artists mainly use lens-based media to show emerging tendencies of how we present ourselves on a global stage. This approach is informed by the wealth of different platforms to stage yourself as an individual.
