During the build-up of Showroom MAMA's exhibitions, its windows are used for the Raamproject (Window Project). Under the guidance of MAMA's Rookies, art academy students and other aspiring creatives are given the opportunity to make a display for Showroom MAMA's windows. For Raamproject IX MAMA collaborated with the Royal Academy of the Arts in The Hague (KABK).
For Raamproject XI a group of third year printing students will show work referencing Brad Troemel's solo-exhibition, The Social Life of Things, opening November 4. The exhibition examines how information and objects spread within people's networks – both on the Internet and in the real world.

The works shown are inspired by Brad Troemel's workplace – the Internet – and translate the digital highway to Showroom MAMA's windows, informed by the pixels and grid of the computer screen.

The project has been co-organised by the Rookies, Christianne van de Weg, student in Art and Culture studies at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, and Rianne Verweij, Lifestyle and Design graduate from Rotterdam's Willem de Kooning Academy.
